Shakira and Piqué confirm their separation
The Colombian singer and the soccer player separate after 12 years of relationship
After a long week of rumors on social networks, Shakira and Piqué decided to issue a statement regarding their separation. This, published by the Efe agency, said the following:
"We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding."
According to a news published by the newspaper El Periódico through its exclusive section of "Mamarazzis", the separation has been more than three months old, since then the player decided to leave home, and move to his single apartment, located on the street Muntaner from Barcelona.
